What to Expect
Visiting a new church can bring a variety of questions and concerns for a first time visitor, but there’s no need to fret!  From children’s programs to dress code to teaching styles, here’s a snapshot of what you can expect when you attend a Sunday service at Calvary Assembly of God.
Whether you come to our 9:30am or 11:00am service, we aim to make parking a breeze at Calvary. There are plenty of parking s
paces available at both the front and rear of the church. If you are a first-time visitor, feel free to use the designated parking spaces available near the front entrance.

Calvary Kids
We have a place for children of all ages at Calvary. Our Children’s Church staff are ready to receive your little ones 15 minutes before each service starts. To ensure the safety of all children, we do require all Children’s Church teachers and workers to pass a full background check before serving in our Children’s ministry. In addition, all classes require a parent to sign in and sign out so all children are accounted for at all times. No matter the age, children will be engaged, entertained and taught biblical truth in all lessons. And they’re sure to make plenty of new friends!

Worship Service
Adult services are held in the main sanctuary on the main level. Not sure where to go? You will find greeters by each door to answer any questions you may have or help you navigate your way through the building. Our church environment is welcoming, friendly and diverse. You will see a variety of cultures, backgrounds and ages.

To complement our diverse congregation, you’ll see a variety of styles of dress. Some are casual and others business casual so feel free to come in whatever makes you comfortable.

Worship Styles
We embrace all styles of worship music at Calvary. Our goal is to create an atmosphere where people of all ages and backgrounds can come together and be connected to Jesus Christ.

Receiving an Offering
During our service, those who consider Calvary their home church will be given the opportunity to worship the Lord with their finances by giving God a portion of their earnings. We call this the offering. As a visitor, do not feel any pressure to take part in this. However, please be sure to fill out a Connection Card and place it in the offering bag so we can connect with you after your visit.

Our teaching time is focused on Biblical truth. We take deep truths of the Bible and unfold them in a way that makes sense to everyday men and women. Sermons at Calvary are broken out into simple points and displayed on an overhead which makes them easy to follow. Sermons tend to last around 30-35 minutes. In case you missed a sermon or want to go back and review, visit our Media page to see titles and notes from previous lessons.

After the Service Ends
Don’t feel rushed to leave after the final Amen. If you have children, we ask that you do return to their respective locations to sign them out of class. You’ll see many members of the congregation greeting and socializing with others. If you are feeling up for it and have the time, feel free to take time to meet new people. In addition, we will have a free gift for you at our Welcome Center located on the right hand side of the foyer. We look forward to connecting with you!

Calvary Assembly of God is a part of the “Assemblies of God”, which is a worldwide fellowship of churches that numbers approximately 67 million people.
